Richard J. Orr

BSc, MD, FRCS(C) Cataract, Laser & Refractive Surgeon, Certified LASIK Surgeon
Dr. Orr has been an ophthalmologist for the Grey Bruce Regional Health Centre since 1996 and has been performing laser surgery since 1998.
​Dr. Orr is committed to providing the best possible eye care to Ontario residents for over 30 years.

RAMI ShaSHA

MD, FRCS(C) Cataract, Laser & Refractive Surgeon, Certified LASIK Surgeon.
Dr. Shasha completed medical school at the University of Ottawa and his surgical residency at the Ivey Eye Institute, Ontario. Dr. Shasha was a selected global winner in 2023 for the Cataract & Refractive Surgery Today Journal for his selected complex anterior segment photo submission. He was a selected global winner in 2023 for the American Academy Global YO Video competition for most complex cases preformed.

Heather Baker

Practice Manager, Financial Administrator, Ophthalmic Assistant
Heather has been with the team since 2005. 
Heather has completed Phase I and II Ophthalmic Assistant training and with her banking background makes and excellent fit for the clinic.
Heather enjoys the fast paced environment at the clinic; balancing the needs of patients and keeping us all organised.

sharon Miller

LASIK Co-Ordinator, Events Manager
Sharon is a firm believer in iLASIK surgery; she says her own LASIK surgery was a game-changer. 
Sharon had her vision corrected in 2004 and still sees 20/20.
Sharon has been guiding patients through positive LASIK experiences since 2012 and also represents the clinic at community events and educational days in the Grey Bruce area.​

glenn Miller

LASIK Technician
Glenn moved from New Zealand to Grey Bruce in 2011 and has been part of the Grey Bruce team since 2016, developing extensive hands-on experience with LASIK technology and laser procedures.
Alongside his work at Grey Bruce LASIK, Glenn has gained national experience planning, developing, and designing specialty medical clinics across Canada. He enjoys the technical side of LASIK and, even after 10 years, still finds it rewarding to see what a difference the procedure can make to patients.

Karen Perks

Head Ophthalmic Technician
Karen has a background in running an optometrist clinic so hit the ground running when she joined Grey Bruce LASIK in 2012. In 2013 Karen started candidate evaluation for LASIK consultations and Pre-operative 3-D Wave scanning.
Karen covers a wide range of patient testing; from cataract measurements for ophthalmologists all over Grey Bruce to Optical Coherence Tomography for retinal imaging.

Robyn Lachance

Ophthalmic Technician/Clinic Operations Specialist
Robyn joined the team in 2017 helping at our LASIK Boothe for Community events and supporting LASIK treatment days. Robyn helps out in our busy clinics and manages the schedules for hundreds of our patients.
Robyn has completed Ophthalmic Assistant Phase I training and works part time so she can continue her hobby of travelling the globe. (As of August 2026  she's visited 13 countries and counting!)
